Getting started
What is JoPay?
JoPay lets you create payment links and QR codes so customers can pay with their wallet. You receive USDC directly to your wallet - JoPay does not hold your funds.
How it works
- Create a payment link (amount + description)
- Share it via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or QR
- Customer pays -> you receive USDC
Login & account
I can't log in
If you log in via jopay.app, enter your email - we'll route you to the right portal. Make sure to use your signup email.
Verification email missing?
Troubleshooting login issuesChange wallet address
For security, wallet changes may require verification. Contact support or your partner.
Payments
Create a payment link
Enter an amount, add an optional note, and generate a link or QR code to share.
Payment statuses
- Pending - link created, not paid yet
- Paid - payment verified on-chain
- Expired - link is no longer valid
- Cancelled - link manually cancelled
Wallets & payouts
Where does the money go?
Payments go directly to your wallet address. JoPay never holds your funds.
Supported wallets
JoPay works with most major wallets that support USDC. If your customer can send USDC, it will work.
Network fees
Customers may pay network fees in their wallet when sending USDC.
Refunds & mistakes
Can I reverse a payment?
Returns depend on your setup. If you need help handling a return, contact support or your partner.
Customer paid wrong amount
If the customer overpaid or underpaid, contact support for the quickest resolution path.
Fees & pricing
Phase 1 Pricing
Merchants pay EUR 0 in JoPay fees. Customers cover any network fees in their wallet.
Auto-forward & sweep
What is auto-forward?
Auto-forward automatically sends verified payments to your withdraw address. No manual action needed.
Requirements
You need an embedded wallet (Sequence WaaS) and a withdraw address configured in Settings.
Terminal mode
Your partner can set a master address so all payments from all staff go to one wallet.
Recurring & subscriptions
How recurring billing works
Create a plan with an amount and frequency (weekly, biweekly, or monthly). JoPay charges the customer automatically.
Plan paused or failed?
Plans pause automatically after 3 consecutive charge failures. Resume from your Recurring Plans page.
For customers
To cancel a subscription, contact the merchant directly. JoPay does not manage cancellations.
Looking for detailed documentation?
Our docs cover everything: payment flows, API reference, webhook integration, error codes, and more.
Partner support (for merchants)
Need help with onboarding or cash-out to EUR? A local partner can help with setup, training, and optional cash-out flows.
